Our Story (So Far)

Paw Me Up was started in early 2017 from Kat's (the founder) constant problem of not being able to find compatible playmates for her beagle, Marley in her local area. At the time, there were no mobile app solutions easily connecting like-minded dog owners in their local community to find suitable playmates for their dogs on criteria such as breed, age, gender and personality. After conducting extensive research at local parks around Sydney, there was a resounding support for the idea.

While the mobile app was in development, to drive awareness of the brand, Kat started organising fun dog friendly events to allow like-minded dog owners to connect with one another, to give our beautiful furbabies a supportive and safe environment to play with one another and to promote dog friendly places around Sydney. Our story has been featured in The Daily Telegraph.

The last event was called Puppycino Dates which was a two part educational workshop partnering with a local vet educating dog parents on how to examine your dog from head to tail and treating your dog in emergencies before rushing to the vet. The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive and highly valued the importance of education particularly to new dog parents. This was when Kat decided to change the direction of Paw Me Up to educating and empowering dog parents to make better informed decisions when looking after their furbabies.

We are excited by our new mission! We look forward to hearing your feedback about the next chapter of Paw Me Up and giving our furbabies the best support they deserve.
